In 1983, Honeywell were the first to market the ‘smart’ pressure transmitters using microprocessor technology. Over the years the measuring principle, a 3-in-1 piezoresistive sensor with internal temperature compensation, has been developed to perfection and is unprecedented accurate and stable. The successful ST3000 range, with the series 100 and 900, was succeeded by the SmartLine pressure transmitters. The transmitters for manometer pressure (gauge pressure) are divided into three series:
STG800 SmartLine: High-Performance pressure transmitter, advanced options
STG700 SmartLine: The standard pressure transmitter for the process industry
STG700 Basic SmartLine: Economic pressure transmitter, OEM and projects
Each series has, depending on the mounting, a so-called inline and a dual-head version.
