Industrial Pumps

CombiBloc

CombiBloc is the premier solution for pumping clean thin liquids in a very cost-effective way. The pump is part of Johnson Pump’s Combi-system, a modular programme of single stage centrifugal pumps with a high degree of interchangeablility of parts between the different pump constructions.

  • CombiBloc represents a range of horizontal centrifugal pumps close-coupled to electric motors. The pump is suitable for handling low-viscosity, clean or slightly contaminated and aggressive liquids.

  • Characteristic of the CombiBloc is the compact configuration of the pump and the electric motor assembly. The use of a stub shaft allows standard IEC electric motors to be used.

  • The CombiBloc has applications in crop farming and market gardening, on board ships and in handling various chemicals.

CombiChem

CombiChem is Johnson Pump’s solution for liquid transport in the chemical industry. It is one of the most outstanding pump types of the Johnson Pump Combi-system. The Combi-system is a modular programme of single stage centrifugal pumps with a high degree of interchangeability of parts between the different pump constructions.

  • CombiChem represents a range of horizontal centrifugal pumps, designed to ISO 2858 / EN 22858 (DIN 24256), suitable for handling low viscosity, clean or slightly contaminated liquids.

  • The design of CombiChem complies entirely to ISO 5199. The CombiChem offers a great variety of possible shaft sealings, bearing constructions and also a wide range of different materials, such as stainless steel, bronze, nodular cast iron or cast iron.

  • A leakfree version of the CombiChem is the CombiMag, a magnetic coupled centrifugal pump, especially developed for the chemical industry.

CombiNorm

The CombiNorm is a centrifugal pump according to EN 733 (DIN 24255). This is one of the most versatile pump types. The pump has a wide range of shaft sealing options, varying from gland packing to balanced cartridge double seal. Standard and heavy duty bearings are available, either grease or oil lubricated. That’s why CombiNorm is always the right pump!

  • CombiNorm represents a range of horizontal centrifugal pumps suited for handling low- viscosity, clean or slightly contaminated liquids. The pump is designed to EN 733 (DIN 24255); however the number of available types is somewhat larger, which provides a wider hydraulic field.

  • A characteristic of the CombiNorm is the large number of material, shaft seal and bearing system options. The modular design offers maximum interchangeability between the variants. Hence CombiNorm is able to handle most pump duties. If more sophisticated components are required, only the relevant bearing or shaft seal module needs to be replaced with the one having the right specifications.

  • The Back Pull Out design greatly facilitates maintenance of the CombiNorm.

CombiPrime

CombiPrime is a series of self-priming centrifugal pumps, suited for pumping clean or slightly polluted liquids, with low viscosity. The pumps are available in horizontal as well as in vertical construction. The pump’s self-priming ability is performed by a built-in vacuum pump, based upon the liquid ring principle.

  • The most important characteristic of the CombiPrime is the built-in vacuum pump. This makes it possible to pump a liquid/air mixture or exclusively air during the suction phase. The built-in vacuum pump is based on the liquid ring principle.

  • The CombiPrime is used when handling vapour, aerated liquids or air during the priming stage. The availability of several material options enables corrosive media to be pumped. Applications: bilge & ballast pumps in shipping, fire extinguishing, sprinkler sets.

  • Maintenance is simplified because of the applied ‘Back Pull Out’-principle for the horizontal and ‘Top Pull Out’-principle for the vertical construction.

The FIP-range

Pulsation free and REVERSIBLE flow The FIP-pump gives a uniform flow without pulsation. By regulating the speed of the FIP, you can easily control the flow. The pump is fully reversible.

  • The FIP has minimal outer dimensions compared to its capacity, which simplifies space and installation requirements. The pump is available for direct flange assembly to standard IEC motors without alignment, or for pedestal mounting giving increased flexibility in selecting drive. The FIP is designed for fast, simple, inexpensive maintenance and cleaning.

  • The pump cover is easily removed, providing full access for maintenance and cleaning. Down-time is reduced to a minimum and there is no need to disconnect the pump from the piping system

  • FIP-pump creates vacuum, and does require re-priming or refilling if there is gas or air inside the liquid or system. A dry pump has a suction lift up to 5 meters within a few seconds.

FreFlow

SPX Process Equipment has many years of experience in designing, manufacturing and maintaining self-priming centrifugal pumps for contaminated liquids. On the basis of this experience, the FreFlow pumps were developed to cover a broad field of applications. High priority has been given to the design ensuring easy operation and amazing reliability.

  • FreFlow pumps are self-priming centrifugal pumps suitable for handling contaminated and low-viscosity liquids. Its innovative design, eliminating the need for a non-return valve, results in less maintenance. The self-priming ability prevents the pump from running dry and ensures smooth and easy operation.

  • Typical industries are: chemical, petro- chemical and pharmaceutical industry, oil, gas and electricity generation, paper, plastic, paint and metal finishing industry and shipbuilding.

  • The combination of its easy maintenance and operation, make the FreFlow a suitable pumping solution for a large number of applications.

KGE

The KGE is a self-priming centrifugal pump with radial (semi-open or closed) impeller, overhung mounted on a bearing pedestal. If a spacer type coupling is used, the pump can easily be dismantled without it being necessary to disturb the pipings or to move the motor.

The KGE series is available in different drive possibilities:

  • KGE: pump with bare shaft for clockwise rotation .

  • KGEL: pump with bare shaft for counter-clockwise rotation

  • KGEF: pump with flanged motor (close coupled)

Applications

The KGE is suitable for clean and polluted liquids, which are non-corrosive to cast iron, including water, oils, petrol and all kind of chemicals. Draining building excavations, emptying ponds, ditches and swimming- pools, water extraction for irrigation and watering, aboard ships as bilge, deck wash and general service pumps. Emptying pits and throughs containing wastewater, handling fuels, condensate extraction pumps.

Data Sheet

MDR

Operating principle:
The drive magnet attached to the drive shaft transfers its torque to the impeller magnet. The impeller then rotates around its ceramic shaft on the impeller body – without any physical contact between the drive shaft and the pump body.

  • Applications:
Johnson Pump MDR magnetic drive centrifugal pumps are seal-less and chemically resistant, making them ideal for transporting aggressive, hazardous and valuable liquids.
Surface treatment, water purification and cleaning, photo development, battery production, paper industry, CIP and soap production are just a few of the application areas where MDR excels.

  • Motors:
The pumps are delivered with three-phase standard foot-mounted motors with small IEC- flanges. For the smaller pumps–MDR45 and MDR75–single phase motors can be provided.
The flange between the motor and pump body is made of PP for improved chemical resistance.
